Like Mother Like Daughter

Me: My mum just told me she dropped her Nokia6230 in to a pail of water and now it's not working anymore.
Friend: Wah! That's so sad.

Me: Yeah, apparently the pail of water was so dirty that she washed the phone again under clean running water after that.
Friend: Oh my dear god...

Me: I know it's quite amusing.
Friend: Well, at least she didn't launder her mobile phone in the washing machine for a good 26 minutes like you did...
